In this job, we are building a false chimney breast with a twin-wall flue system in North Town, Taunton.
The false chimney breast was constructed using metal studs and plasterboard. The inside of the fire chamber was clad with non-combustible cement board.
To finish, an oak beam was fitted, maintaining the appropriate distances to combustibles required with this stove, and the chimney breast was plastered.

Limelight Fires undertaking a large renovation to this fireplace in Martock. The first job was to protect the workspace and put down lots of dust sheets.
Breaking out the old brick piers and putting in new lintels was dusty work.
With the old chimney breast supported and the old fireplace knocked out, a new, larger fireplace was rebuilt.
With the new brick fireplace complete, we removed the props. The chimney breast was then squared off, plasterboarded, and plastered. A decorative beam was installed. Finally, we installed a dark slate hearth and fitted the Log Burner and flue system.

Limelight Fires installed this lovely log burner with oven in Wellington. We installed it with a natural oak beam and a dark slate hearth.
On the first day of this knock-out, Limelight removed the existing open fire, installed a new lintel, cut and fitted a new hearth, and fitted a new closure plate and flue system.
On the second day of this job, we prepared for plastering, installed the new oak beam, plastered, and installed the customer's new Chilli Penguin stove.
